The Cast

Sahaja Douglass
Hi. I wrote, acted in and co-produced, “WHERE’S THE BITCH” and am so excited to share the film with you! In recent years, I have been consumed with passion for creating and embodying characters who express the depths of human experience. While Celeste, my character in WTB has many flaws, she has an uncompromising zeal for those she loves and her relentless determination creates hilarious mayhem that I enjoyed embodying. I especially love that I can sublimate all my deep sensitivity and high emotions into art, while having a fairly quiet and balanced personal life! ‘WHERE’S THE BITCH” is my first film and it would not have manifested but for the love, support and donations from my family, friends and a devoted and talented cast and crew.

In his off hours he has a sideline as a writer/performer of children’s songs under his alias — Jamie Broza. Writer
Sahaja Douglass
Sahaja Douglass was in acting class one day, when upon completing an exercise, teacher extraordinaire Robyn Cohen said, “What an interesting relationship. That should be a short film.” Sahaja took those words as gospel and went home (well, okay it was the Pandemic so she was already home) to write her first of 32 drafts of “WHERE’S THE BITCH?” Sahaja is currently dreaming up her next writing/acting/producing projects: a comedic web series based on the characters (and more) in WTB, and a short film exploring a mother’s grief after losing a child at birth.

Singer/Featured Song
The Bitch in Me
MuMu
A self-proclaimed “Queerdo” and avid rollerblader, MuMu was born in Harlem to a pack of women. Five sisters and a momma. As MuMu describes her upbringing, “My sisters challenged me to be heard. My mother taught me to be loud. My god-mother encouraged me to listen.” those lessons are echoed in her lyrics and melodies creating a unique brand of feminist-political-pop with plenty of wit, rebellion, and humor.
Blasting onto the music scene in 2018 with her bold ‘Free the Nip’ video, MuMu quickly went viral. Over the last three years, she toured five continents expanding her international following.
Today, she is not only recognized for her sex-positive, female empowerment persona, but as an activist for diversity and inclusion, and an accomplished composer for her inspiring work on the groundbreaking film ‘Best Summer Ever.’
